I absolutely love this song by newcomer, Diana Vickers the moment I hear it! :D I like the melody, especially the chorus & Diana's voice is perfectly suited for crooning the lyrics, her unique way of singing. Very catchy tune. I managed to sing this new song @KLunch with Sindy yesterday. :P

Gwyneth Paltrow - Country Strong - CMA Awards 2010

This is Gwynee performing her debut single @the Country Music Awards...simply awesome! Apparently, she was so nervous before the performance that she asked for friends like Beyonce for advice. I think her worries were unduly coz her performance was ichiban! :D She really has the charisma & stage presence. I would buy her album when it's out!

This was the movie where I heard my favourite Gwyneth Paltrow sing. Boy, does she has a lovely voice! I'm thinking maybe she & her hubby, ColdPlay (one of my favourite bands too!) frontman, Chris Martin sing karaoke together everyday...haha!

Like her enduring looks, her voice tells it all too. very soothing to the ears. hmnnn....好舒服的感觉哦

Natalie Imbruglia - Counting Down The Days

Like Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia was a soap opera queen previously. These 2 Aussie beauties had since made it big overseas other than their hometown, Australia. I like the low-profile Natalie, quietly making her music without being getting distracted by the bright lights of the entertainment industry. :) I reckon thats how good music is made...To really focus on what you do best!

Sometimes I can really relate to one part of the lyrics of this song..."Days seems like years." I feel things are going so slowly for me...I wonder how many donkey years do I still need to wait...:O

Natalie Imbruglia, there's a kind of unique air about her. Her uniqueness is what attracts me to her songs. 她有一种淡淡的美，不需要特别的化妆. Her previous hit "Torn" was more angst, like Alanis Morisette. But over the years, I notice that she has managed to craft a sense of her unique style of music. :) When you hear it, you know its Natalie Imbruglia. This MTV looks like its very "Mission Impossible" inspired...haha!

I like Jewel's voice & songs alot. Like Lisa Loeb, she has that kind of enduring voice, girlish, sweet, smooth, very pleasing to the ears. This was her very 1st song that I fell in love with. :) She is a real 'Jewel' indeed!

After so many years, I still like this song. 好听的歌就是耐听. :) I like Lisa Loeb's voice, very enduring. & I definitely like her signature 'Miss La-la' inspired specs! :P

命中注定 Destiny

最近一直听到这句话. Recently been hearing this mentioned quite often, either from friends or from TV dramas. Makes me wonder if our lives are pre-destined, will the choices we make, alter the course of our life path? I asked a friend for her view - she believes that 幸福掌握在我们自己手上. Happiness lies in our own hands. 所以命运是掌握在我们自己手上吗？

Well, for me I firmly believe that God holds the key to my future. :) Throughout my life, I may make wrong choices or deemed unwise choices @a point of time. & because of that, it might hinder me from advancing forward. But I know God will lead me back to the right path again, His path for me. Every experience we face in our lives, every person we meet & cross our paths, God allow, to mould us, to train us, to be a better person - stable & strong, unwavering. So as when storms come, we would not be detered.

I believe I have a destiny! :)

Tai Tai Day

Had an enjoyable 'tai tai' day with Ivy last Thursday. 除了在乌节路到处逛逛, we had High Tea @Orchard Hotel. Gosh resembles 贵妇。哈哈！如果真的是这样就好咯。:P I had a very restful day...total refreshed, Thank God. & ready to embrace another day! :)
