出名的十八层地狱。进去一会儿我和美玲就浑身起鸡皮疙瘩了.然后就迅速赶快的走出来了. The famous "10 courts of hells". Meiling & I had goosebumps awhile after entering & swiftly came out.
Scene from Madam White Snake 白蛇传Finally got to go Haw Par Villa with Meiling during her off day. Its been more than 10 years since my last visit there. I remembered that I went with my bro. Then it was paid entry & there was the ride. We queued for almost an hour just for it. :-S The high entrance fees discouraged the public & the management,S'pore Tourism Board decided to grant free entry. However, as its not accessible @all, it was not enough to attract much crowd & thus, became quite in an abandoned state until recently, the opening of the new Circle Line nearby the Villa, brings back the crowd. Gosh, imagine it was built in 1937, before the 1st world war! Its a place worth of restoration & preserving.
