Got to know this band when I chanced upon my bro & Joan's Maldives trip diving video, Deep was one of the songs featured...the moment I listened to it, I was like...WOW, its so dreamy! (I like singers with boyish voice like this for example - New Order & The Cure. I dunno, it sounds soothing to me. I reckon it has something to do that I like guys who have the boyish charm as well. :P) Really appropiate for diving, I'm imagining as I listen to this song & see many lovely corals underwater. :P

This is another song that I came across on You Tube, with equally dreamy melody & lyrics! This will be a new band apart from Owl City & Plain White T's that I discovered & like! :)

Took leave to have a break last week to meet up with IVy for lunch @North Point. Haven't been there for the longest time, heard Ivy mentioned that after extension, more shops so decided to go there together. Yeah, some of the shops there are quite interesting, didn't see them in any other malls. We saw this Japanese shop "MoMo", selling pouches, bags & lifestyle accesories etc. The bags, pouchees are so lovely, sweet & kawaii! Ivy & I bought some of very pouches & bags for ourselves & as X'mas pressies. There was another shop selling very interesting notebooks/ notepads with very interesting & lovely covers. Some really resemble book covers, very unique! I bought one for myself, a very nice Yellow Diary & a few for X'mas pressies for my friends/colleagues as well. Haven't been hand-writing my Diary for a very long time & it feels really great to be able to do so again. :) Writing down my thoughts & feelings. Back To Basics, thats what I'm doing now - Enjoying the simple things in life, that I've always enjoy. :)

The Simple Things in LIfe

Thank God that a stressful work week has passed & the weekend is here...my rest days, which I can just enjoy doing...just nothing. Just chill out. Though I needed to help babysit my nephews @their place, I still could find peace & rest. :) God's Grace indeed. The boys were good today. When you give them time to play online games & WII, they will not bother you...haha! I was able to take a short nap, just close my eyes & let my mind wonder whilst they were playing games. Joan came back early around 4+ from lunch with her friend, who just came back from Italy. It seems many people whom I know went there for Honeymoon or Holiday this year! :O Is it a year of Italian tourism or something? haha! But I have the $$$, I would certainly love to go as well. Coz I just love countries like Italy with rich history, culture & delicious food - Pasta, Pizza, Tiramisu....gosh! :P Drooling already.

Anyway, Joan suggested we go for dinner @the cafeteria @our nearby newly opened ITE College West. Good idea as I've not been there yet. The campus was big with a nice sports complex that is open to public. Hmnnn...I can come here to jog next time. :) Definitely not so crowded here.

After our dinner, Joan bought an ice-cream pack for all of us & we sat @spectator stand @the sports complex to savour our ice-cream. 人生最简单的事，是最享受的。Watching the night sky with one lonely star & a clear moon, I realize the simple things in life like this should be the most cherished. 简单的，不复杂。

The simple things in life is often what we neglected. We often often let our time by pursuing higher, richer & more elaborate lifestyle. Is it because of the rising & advanced Technology makes human beings somewhat missing that human touch. 少了些人间的温暖，人情味?

We need to get in touch with that simplicity, uncomplicated things in life once again. :)

Finally Break! :D

Thank God for answering my prayers, I'll be able to finally have a short break! :D Joan asked me & my 'Landlord' if we're keen to go to Penang during December, to join her sister & family, we can rent a service apartment. Linus & Lucius will certainly love it. I jumped @the opportunity & immediately agreed! :P Gosh, I don't mind going anywhere as long as can get out of here, a getaway! From work, from stress, from here. :O

The last time I went to Penang was I remembered during Secondary School, that was so long ago. I wonder how much has changed since my last trip. Ivy said that its a nice place. She often goes back with her mum to visit their relatives, so she pretty much knows the place well. Ok, I'm certainly looking forward to this trip! :D

I Need A Break! :O

Gosh, I've been super busy lately especially these past 2 weeks @work as Sindy is on leave - she went for Holiday...& Romantic Italy! :O I'm so envious! :( She's coming back next week, I'm already missing her so badly. Can't wait to hear of her 'adventures' @Italy. :D Then next month, Ivy is going Japan with Bernard....everybody is going on holiday except me! :-S My last trip was months ago during March - Macau. That was before I took on more responsibilities @work & I'm feeling stressful! God Help Me! :( I also want a break...I need one badly! I need one to recharge & refresh! Cindy said that her Dad has a very good offer from his colleague of a 4 day 3 night Star Virgo Cruise & she asked me to join her & her folks. I'm crossing my finger & praying real hard for the confirmation of the cruise! ;) 我好累，真的需要休息。神啊，救救我吧！

Celebrated Ivy's Birthday @T2 Breeks. The food was awesome so is the service. I bought Ivy's favourite Choco Classico cake. The waiters/ waitresses then sang her Birthday cake after our meal. sweet! :)

After dinner, we had a nice time shopping & taking photos! The decor garden of T2 was so lovely! :D
