A Restful Break

Its been a tiring week. Many things to clear @work. Alas the weekend is here! Went to watch Indiana Jones with Cindy today & shopping after that. Been waiting for too long for the movie. I wonder how come it took awfully long for George Lucas to write for a film?Starwars, Indiana Jones. Gosh! The last Indie movie was what, more than 10years ago! & Mr Harrison Ford is already his 60s! Not a really enjoyable sight to watch but still, I must say that I'm very impressed that he could still do his own stunts! Though he's not as agile as before. Anyhow, its still a very encouragable effort. Kudos to Mr Ford! :) His trademark sense of humor was still there. This time round, a new sidekick, Shia Laboef aka his son. Overall, I enjoyed the movie & Cindy more, coz' she was laughing from start till end! Haha! Well, glad I'm able to go out to take a breather from a busy & rather troubled week. Gotta distract myself @times from thinking too much. :O

Thank God for a fun & relaxing weekend Bintan getaway. It was really a very welcoming break for me indeed. @least I could just get away for awhile & really unwind myself. But I find it too short & a bit rush though. Coz' for one thing, we took the afternoon ferry on Friday & morning ferry on Sunday. I hadn't really got the chance to really explore around. My colleague, Kenneth had more time & fun exploring, 4 day trip. His was really extreme sports with his family. But one thing I'm really thankful about was that my sis-in-law specially booked massage a session for my mum, aunt & me! Just nice coz' I really needed a massage desperately as my shoulders is experiencing tension. But expectedly, it was rather expensive. My mum & aunt kept complaining about it throughout the trip.
I specially liked the villa we stayed. It was really huge, comfy & spacious! How I wish it were my home! It would be real nice! hee! There were 6 families staying in 2 villas-20 of us including kids. The 1st night I didn't really sleep well coz' Linus came to sleep with us in the middle of the night. He was wailing when he didn't see his folks by his side as they went next door to play mahjong.
The 2nd day, I had to babysit my nephews in the morning as their folks went playing golf in the early morning. These two boys when together, could really create a din & taking care of them is like running a marathon! They kept running & jumping all over. I was dog-tired by afternoon. Goodness, my bro & sis-in-law took them for a swim shortly with the rest. I hurriedly went back to the villa together with my aunt & mum for a well-deserved rest. By evening time, all of us went for a stroll by the beach. Really cooling & the sea is so blue! Imagine only just 45mins ferry & you could see such crystal clear water! & you could even see crabs! My brother tried to catch one, intending to bbq it for dinner but the fella was too fast for him, it just disappeared into the sand.
We had bbq feast @night. It was a sheer good & fine meal indeed! There were seafood & steak, lamp chop, chicken wings etc. My stomach was full to the max! Best of all, there were someone from the Resort helping us to bbq! :) How about that!

I rose early morning the next day to have breakfast @the Resort main lobby. Sure felt good to eat in peace, without the chatter of my nephews. Hoho! We checked out soon after that & it was Home Sweet Home!

Next destination will be Macau! Cindy & I plan to go there probably by end of the year. I wanna see the recent built Venetian...i heard such good reviews of it! We'll see how. Hope we will be able to make it. :)
