Divine Appointment

Accompanied Cindy to CWP Metro last weekend to buy dress to be worn on her colleague's wedding. We managed to find one that suits her. We shopped for awhile after that and she found a coffeemaker, which she's been wanting to buy, to bring to office. She was so happy. A good harvest for her, I reckon. :)

We decided to go home after that. As the front way to the MRT was very crowded coz of a performance, we decided to turn to the other way instead. As we were walking, out of a sudden, we heard someone kept saying "Hello, Hello!". We turned to look...it was our friend, Su! What a pleasant surprise! Both of us thought she was a surveyor or salesperson! hahah! We then came to know that Su's office was nearby. We've been wanting to meet up with her but anyway, our schedules either seemed to clash or something cropped up. So this must be a divine appointment! :)

We had so much to catch up so we went to the nearby Toast Box to rest our legs & had a good chat. It was always fun to sit down in a place like this & spending time with friends. In the midst of our busy schedules, it is important that we slow down a bit & enjoy the simple things in life.

Whenever I looked back on how we 1st met Su, it always never fails to bring fond memories in my mind. Cindy & I got to know Su....in the most unlikeliest place, @ a Radio programme event @Concourse! That was several years ago. Both of us were crazy over one of the TVB actors, Wong Hei then. He was invited to SG to shoot for a drama & hence, there were many outdoor promo events. That particular event itself was organized by 100.3FM & was hosted by DJ Violet FenYing. We were extremely excited to see our favourite TVB actor & shouted like crazy. Cindy wanted to snap a good shot of him & kept calling him. Finally we caught his attention & he looked our way. All this while, Su was standing beside us, looking @us, bemused over our 'enthusiasm'. We casually talked to her & after the event, we managed to exchange contact details & from there, we were blessed with a new friend! Till now, we still remain in contact, which is really precious. I gotta say the 3 of us gotta thank Wong Hei for bringing us together...haha! But ultimately knowing Su itself was also a divine appointment! I thank God for always bringing the right people & good friends into my lives. I'm blessed! :D
