Saw my cousin @the MRT last week. I was heading home & was about to alight when I felt someone tapping on my shoulder. I turned to look for quite awhile before I was able to decifer the familiar face, it was my cousin Lee Hwa. Gosh, I haven't seen her for ages. She is 12 years older than me & is a mother of 3 but she still looks gorgeous as ever! Her eldest daughter is studying in Poly. Nobody would even know she's married with kids! She's lovely, a natural beauty, slim, soft-spoken, just like a Lady. I remembered when I was in Primary School, I used to enjoy going to her house to play with her brother, JinXiang. Once, she even took us to her company then, Fuji Film Co. She loved to doll up alot & whenever she did, it would take her an average of an hour to get ready & JinXiang & I got quite impatient waiting. hee! She would put on different dresses & asked for our opinions. & her perfume, gosh I can't forget the strong smell of it! Beautiful dress & strong perfume on a beautiful lady like her....perfecto! We would have a good time @her empty office during the weekend while she got busy with her work. When we were on our way back, few blocks away from their place, I remembered we were passing a void deck & these few guys were so mesmerized by her beauty that they whistled & cat-calls @her. :P Honestly, if I'm a guy, I would do the same! haha!
Ok, I was extremely surprised to see Lee Hwa inside the MRT while alighting & I smiled @her. Apparently, she was going to her Malay colleague's house upon her invitation for Raya. She needed to take the bus 190. Just nice, I offered to accompany her. We talked a bit during the bus journey, catching up. She asked my mum, my bro & myself, If I have boyfriend. :P I just by passed by the topic flashing my megawatt smile that I don't have. Haha! I asked about her work & her kids. A while later, I've reached my stop & bid goodbye to her. A nice time of catching up with someone whom long time no see.
I realize recently, I've been revisited by my fond memories of the past. Especially chatting with my school friends like Shida & Ivy. & now, Lee Hwa. I guess once in awhile we need to have time to slow down & back tracked a bit of our lives. To reflect....reflection on our thoughts is good. :) Life is a journey, not a F1 race. :P
