To Err is Human & if you don't, then most probably you're ain't human @all...haha! 凡是人都会犯错。It's Human Nature because we're not perfect. But how many really can truly forgive? We seem intolerant over other people's mistakes but expect others to be tolerant of ours. :O Odd, isn't it? How we want others to treat us, we have to extend the same Grace unto others 1st. It's just like its seems so easy to criticise others but yet not seeing & reflecting on ourselves. Reflection - Important, but I wonder how many of us really do that? Coz most of us would think that we are always right. :(
I've personally experienced ungraciousness, intolerance & condemnation over my mistakes, mainly @work. The main motto for these intolerant people is "There are no room for mistakes". I wonder was it because they were treated with unfairness by their fellow colleagues/peers that they behaved such a way? If yes, then I truly pity them. But I suspect it may be mostly caused by stress. Stress - A Killer...Sad but it's becoming so common for people in our society nowadays to have this 'Killer'. Hence in the workplace, I find that for different reasons, it made people selfish & as a result, lack of understanding towards each other. What has our society made us to be?....Sad.
But through these, I learnt something precious - 谦虚认错,知错能改. Humbly apologise & learn from our mistakes. It's not easy @all for me, coz I find that I'm the frequent target for criticism. Friends & Family, working colleagues etc. :-/ I keep asking why. Is it because I'm special? Maybe...haha! I remember I used to be an extremely critical person too, but somehow God changed me & I realized that I'm not perfect, why should I expect others to be perfect & not err? Thank God that I'm totally released! :D
I reckon this is a test that I must go through, to make me humble. With His Strength & Grace,我一定可以的!I'll surely pass with flying colours! :P
