Lets Talk About Sex

Okay, the moment this topic is mentioned, many even the dead asleep will rise up from their slumber. haha! Thats what my pastor mentioned during one of the services - that in church, mentioned "Jesus", no reaction. But mention "Sex", those sound asleep, their ears unknowingly pricked up...funny!...but true! I was working one day in the playback room arranging for the transmission tapes for our in-house Sports Channel when I heard one of the Taiwanese talkshows running in the background. One of the editors is doing editing for the programme. Somehow or rather, I wasn't sure if the editor tuned up the volume or because the topic was, u guess it...about "Sex" that I find especially loud. Haha! Normally, the guys will normally quietly do their own business but this time round, all of them suddenly became so alive & got so engrossly engaged in this programme topic that they excitedly commented about it, which I think secretly giggled & felt bemused. I was thinking, are they feeling deprived somehow? Gosh. I seriously think so. Haha! I was quite amazed that the Taiwanese are very open about this topic "Sex" whereas we won't definitely have it here. I find talking openly is good than acting secretly. Growing up, I wasn't told by my Mum regarding the 'birds & the bees' till believe it or not, I heard it during secondary school from my good friend, Tee Ching! :-S I was like....so complicated one ah??? Haha! Dear me, so innocent back then. For one thing, the Westerners are very open about this. But sometimes I think way too open though. I find that proper sex education especially to the young ones is so very essential, educating them about "Responsible Behaviour as well Responsible actions". Coz you can't stop them but you can educate them.
