The King of Dramas

I'm rather picky in watching korean dramas nowadays. Coz' I find that there are too many right now, its like producing fast food with recycled plots and content. I prefer to watch those with true quality in my opinion.

To be honest, I started to watch "The King of Dramas" initially because of my favourite Kimchi Hunk, Choi Siwon. :-P But it was not till I watched on that I fell in love with it! It was able to keep viewers coming back to watch the next episode. The drama gave insight of the drama world, full inside drama production from start till end and political power struggles within the high management, particularly focusing on the lead character -Anthony Kim. He was not a likeable character at the start - He was despicable, one who will do at all costs to make sure the drama he produced gets high ratings. But after he got sacked and had to start from scratch, he gradually changed for the better @ the influence of a newbie writer, Lee Gyo Eun. Siwon came into the picture from the 4th episode onwards as the lead actor in the new drama Anthony was producing. Siwon was simply hilarious as Kang Hyun Min, the narcissist actor. He never failed to make my day in the drama! A very different side of him as compared in the previous dramas he was in. His laughter was so very infectious! :-D Siwon can really act & he has the potential to go far in acting in years to come. The success of the drama came with a strong production team and of course, the strong cast. Powerful & Strong portrayal of the The King of Dramas, Anthony Kim is Kim Myung Min. Every of his expression is deep & with substance. & not forgetting of his chemistry with Jung Ryeo Won. She's one of my favourite korean actresses too. :-) This is one korean drama that I absolutely enjoyed watching besides "A Gentleman's Dignity" and of course my All time favourite "Secret Garden".
