D&D

Last Friday was our company D&D. This was my 1st year so I was rather excited. However, I reckon because it was a working day itself, though we got to knock off early, I didn't get to rest @all when I reached home, although I badly wanted to. The time was only just sufficient to shower & dressed up.

Although the traffic was considered rather heavy along the expressway, I was on time to register for the lucky draw. I was bemused to see many people really going all the way to dress up for this year's theme- Heroes & Villians. But it was really sporting. I wouldn't mind doing so too with the company of my colleagues. :D Cindy, being part of one of the most sporting depts, MSU, together with her colleagues, dressed up as WuShu characters. She looked absolutely adorable with her two plaits! I think she should wear as Chun Li, with the '2 curry puff bun', better effects! haha! Oops!

Throughout the night, I was feeling awfully sleepy. It didn't help with the little lights on. I guess they wanted to create a romantic atmosphere or to make use of the light effects for special purposes. haha. The food was somewhat average. But good thing was, @least I got Sindy to talk to, that helped me get the night. :)

I was expecting something more but overall, it was just alright, nothing too special. The games & all that were quite predictable. I seen similiar ones when I attended Cindy's ex-company D&D. I guess its this year's organizing Committee...borrring! The only thing that kept the night going had got to be the host, Justin. He's really ichiban, cracking jokes & lighten us up. I got to a point where I was laughing till my stomach aching! Heehee!

This year's top 10 prizes were not that attractive, I find. Most of them are either Plasma TVs or HD sets(1st prize), though most probably were not cheap. But I mean, how many TVs can a household have? Somemore, with the massive side, I don't think so. The most practical prizes I reckon most people will agree with me would be something like air tics. This was last year's 1st prize, I was told. With spending money! Ooowww! There are other consolation prizes, I'll have to check tomorrow to find out. I don't mind shopping vouchers though. :P

In the end, I got home around 1+. Was like already totally exhausted. I dropped to sleep shortly after. zzzzzzzz....
