My pals, Cindy & Meiling celebrated my birthday for me last Saturday. We met for lunch @California Pizza Kitchen. We ordered Miso Salad, Original BBQ chicken thin crust pizza & Spaghetti Carbonara. The 1st two dishes were good but the Carbonara was a bit too dry though. & overall, the service was average only. Singapore really need to buck up in the service line.
After lunch, we proceeded to the Coffee Bean cafe next door for my 'cake cutting ceremony'. :P The My Melody cake was so lovely & colourful that I didn't really bear to eat it. A sudden gust of wind made it very difficult for us to light up the candles. After trying for a tiring what,10 minutes, they were finally lighted up. The gals sang birthday song for me & I blew the candles....I was so touched! I hurriedly made a wish. The cafe assistant was so kind enough to bring us some plates & fork. :) Now, thats good service.
