R.I.P MJ

I woke up last Friday to receive a piece of shocking news....Pop Icon, Michael Jackson has passed away! :O I was like OMG! Like many fans, I was so shocked...coz I grew up listening to his songs....classic! My mum was equally shocked when I broke the news to her, she was very fond of him as well. She loves his energy, his dances moves especially. The whole week alone, there were many programmes showing his MTVs...& I realized he has so many hits! Not forgetting his Jackson 5 days!

But somehow, I find it quite expected of his imminent death coz in recent years, he seemed to be plagued by series of personal & health issues. Sadly, his contributions in charity work & to the music industry are overshadowed by his personal life. :( Its very saddening that he had to die in this way & more saddening that he had to go through 2 autopysies to find out the cause of his death. Imagine his body had to be cut opened, stitched back...cut open again. Him, an international superstar. It goes to show how fragile Life is & no matter how successful a person's life on earth was, he/she ultimately can't take away for all he has or own. But what MJ left behind, certainly are wonderful memories of his songs, his dance, his Spirit. Forever. :) He's truly God's gift to us. A kind-hearted soul with so much passion in what he does, full of energy...like electric when he dance! (thats what my mum said. hehe!) & I think its also of this kind-heartedness that gets the better of him, people take advantage of it.


His funeral will be on next Tuesday 7th July 2009. I reckon it will be swarm of people- his family, fans, friends sending him off of his last journey.


R.I.P MJ...you will be fondly remembered & missed! Goodbye! :) May God bless your soul!
