God is good! I just came back from a most refreshing trip from Down Under OZ Darwin! Thoroughly enjoyed myself of this welcoming break. :) Many 1st time, my 1st time to Darwin, my 1st time travelling by budget airline Jetstar, 1st time camping! I was so worried that I couldn't sleep out in the vast outback of OZ & had to buy bedtime balm recommended by Annie. But my worries were unduly coz i literally could sleep like a baby, thank God! :D The moon amazingly was shining so brightly on our tent...like a bright lamp! @1st I thought it was our guide's torch but Hannah told me that it was not, it was the moon. So in the end, our tent was so brightly lit. I felt God's angels protecting us.
Its been 10 years since I last went OZ. I had quite a bad experience with the locals, they gave me the impression of being anti-Asians. I didn't feel welcome. But this time round, really God's Favor, the locals were so warm & friendly! A huge contrast. I reckon it was also becoz that there ain't that many Asians especially chinese around compared to Perth. We seemed kind rare there & therefore, most of them were friendly & warm towards us. Even the cool guys in the hostel...hoho!
Our day tour was fun, got to know the other fellow travellers, of which was a cool Frenchie. :P He was working while travelling @same time. He's been to many parts of Australia already & set to travel to S'pore, M'sia & Thailand. He's of average height 1.75 (Like Ross...:)) & lean, with few body fats. haha! I immediately could tell that that he's Frenchie from his oh so unique accent. Managed to take a pic with him & our guide, Andy, all thanks to Hannah. :P But didn't get to ask for his FB though....Oooow! Oh well.
I certainly hope & all set to go another destination again...where's next? :D
