Finally the much awaited Jay Chou Concert! Ichiban! Cindy & I attended the 2nd Concert. The popularity of Jay is evident in all 3 days sold-out concert! 周董魅力无法挡! The crowd started to get pretty restless around 8+ & the concert finally commenced @8.45pm. Everybody, including me & Cindy just went wild when Jay appeared, in 3D floating in the air from playing lean mean guitar. He sang most of his new songs from his latest album 跨时代 & some of his hits from his previous albums & also a few of his early hits to mark his 10th year in showbiz, like my favourites 龙卷风，开不了口，可爱女人，双节棍。& also not forgetting 义父知名 from his award winning album- 叶惠美. The concert 3D concept was really cool & Jay got to enjoy playing cool throughout -his favourite. Haha! He changed to quite a number of attires too.
I realized he's more chatty now, as compared to years ago as a newbie - he was a cap-donning, shy guy who always looked down to the floor when he spoke. What a big contrast! Now, he's a mega-star, a talent, a class of his own. Besides the role as a singer-songwriter, he acted with superstars like Chow Yun Fatt & Gong Li, directed his 1st movie as well as the drama "Pandamen". He indeed achieved a whole lot in this 10years! His mama must be extremely proud of him. Not easy to survive in the harsh Taiwanese showbiz also, being constantly in the limelight & needing to face the paparazzi aka 狗仔队. During the concert, he commented that he would not be defeated so easily because he's Jay Chou. Typical Jay's attitude. hehe! Well, I guess that's confidence to some & to others, might be snobbish pride. Whatever it is, he will always be one of my favourite singers! 周董，我永远支持你！加油！ :D
