Inception

Watched this fabulous movie with my movie buddy, Annie-san last weekend. Another Oscar material! Before that, I already heard & read positive reviews of this film from friends & My Paper. I've always been facinated by movies of dreams concept like Matrix & Avatar. Inception, I find its quite obviously inspired by the two films.

Though the dream concept is same but the storyline is somewhat a bit different though. In Matrix & Avatar, the dreams transformed to reality when the lead characters were asleep. In Inception, the same thing but the difference is, they go down deep 3 levels. Quite scary actually. To be awoken, they need a violent 'scenario' - like being killed (either being shot or stabbed) in the dream or an equally violent shake up. 大振动让他们惊醒. But as they go deeper, they must keep themselves alive as it becomes more unstable with each level. If not, they will be in a state of coma or worse, asleep forever.

The reason that I'm so facinated by dreams is that I believe that they represent of our subconscious state, the situation & things that we are going through presently. Most dreams have hidden messages in them. Sometimes, weirdly, in my dreams, I knew I was dreaming & I was in full control of it & I like the feeling. I like the feeling of being in control of my situation, that I can change things to the way that I wanted, which in real life, I can't. Coz' some things are beyond our control. :( & sometimes, it really frustrates me. & thats why, I like to dream - asleep & awake (day-dream). Haha!

After watching the movie, I can't wait to go to sleep, for my next dream! :P
