Singapore MRT: I Wanna Si (Die in Hokkien) [Under the Sea Parody]
Watched this funny vidz with Sindy @office. We were laughing all the way! Really creative & the lyrics described so very well to us commuters who have to go through the 'Rush Hour Agony'. Its like going to battle every single working day :-S As if squeezing through the mostly packed MRT is not enough, many a time we encounter some totally no-brainers people on board. :O
Here are examples of what I call 'No-brainers beings':
No-brainer 1) Those who 'die-die' also must squeeze in though there're
obviously NO MORE SPACE! I mean, if they're in a hurry & almost late for work, I can perfectly understand. But most of the time, I find that some are just 'used' to this unreasonable way of securing a place. Absolutely Annoying! :-/
No-brainer 2) Those carrying backpacks a.k.a Ninja Turtle Shell. For their
info, backpacks already occupy double space, they should either minimise their movement or considerately place it on the floor (which though I see a few of doing that, I'm thankful & appreciative) Coz for goodness sake, its already crowded inside the train as it is especially during this hour, don't just stand there like nobody's business & your silly, bulky backpack keeps 'bumping' onto others! Simply Irritating! :-S
No-brainer 3) Queue-cutters. These are the ones who quietly, discreetly just cut in from nowhere & suddenly stand beside you. Simply K.S. (Kiasu) :O
No-brainer 4) There are those who like to read books or use their 'I' gadgets (be it IPhone, Itouch, IPod, IPad or whatever 'I') in extremely less than 1cm standing space in between. Hello! Really need some knocking on the head duh! Normally these kind of people, their movements will be quite big especially those who need to take out their gadgets. Then their elbows will end up banging onto others. I heard from a friend that there was this lady who had her book open so wide that it hit her face. She was pissed off & told her off. Alamak....like Phua Chu Kang would say "Use your blain, use your blain!".
No-brainer 4) I notice that many S'poreans have no sense of personal space. :-/ They can stand sooooo close beside you that you can hardly breathe, let alone have moving space. I mean, having like few centimetres of personal space is not too much, right? Especially for men who stand a little bit way too close to women can be quite repulsive. I don't care if they have limited space also...as gentlemen, they should allow & provide that space to the ladies! Oops, I'm sorry, I forget that there are rarely any gentlemen here in the 1st place. :-S
So you see, going through this 'war zone' everyday, really must possess great 'survival' skills & I'm already, definitely 'well-trained' for that! :D
