National Day

I used to love National Day when I was in Primary School. During music lesson, we would be taught to sing ND songs. Then, I would feel the patriotism for my country even when I was in a tender age. That was back then. As our nation advanced especially in recent years, sadly, the uniqueness of 'Singaporism' is slowly fading away, all thanks to the influx of FT (Foreign Talent). Instead of blending in to our unique culture, many bring along social problems. :-S Don't misunderstand me, I am all welcome for Foreign Talent to come to our beautiful little Island but provided they can 入乡随俗. Please don't bring all the nonsense & crap along. :S Same applies to us Singaporeans, the last thing to do is to compare our country with others when we go travelling.

Sometimes, though I was born, raised & live here but I don't feel like a sense of belonging anymore especially in the overly crowded MRT, which I reckon half of the commuters are not Singaporeans. :-S You turn to your right & to the left, gosh! A friend who lived & worked in the States for 6years, almost didn't recognise when she returned, her Singapore became not Singapore anymore. As such, in the near future, she has plans to want to go back to New York, this time for good. I asked her to bring me around, to be my tour guide, which she gladly agrees. :)

Nevertheless, I would like to wish all my fellow Singaporeans A Happy & Blessed National Day! This is our country, our home where our friends & family are, lets not give up hope on it! :) 亲爱的同胞们，祝大家国庆日快乐！
