Suede Concert

I officially broke my own record of watching two concerts in a go in a week! :D & I'm darn proud of it, someone please get me into the guinness book of records...haha!

Well, The Cranberries Concert was planned (On Monday, 1Aug) but not Suede's though (On Wednesday, Aug3). I got the free tic from Fiona, whose friend was sick & couldn't make it. So I reckon that I have her friend to thank for then, not that I'm happy to see her sick or something, no, no, no, please don't misunderstood me. Actually, very funny, I was just thinking that it be good if I could join Fiona to the concert. Just a thought. Just a simple thought. :P & in the afternoon she sms-ed me! How good it is if all that I wish or think can come true. 心想事成! :D

Anyway, Suede's LIVE performance was as awesome as ever since the last time I caught their gig more than 10years ago. I went with my bro & his uni mates. We bought the tics @the Free Standing area. I remembered there were these two very annoying 'clone' looking like girlies. For a moment, I thought they might be in the wrong concert or something. Shouldn't they be watching Boybands or something. :S They were super-vain, constantly flirting with their male companions & other 'ang mohs'. & one of them who was standing right beside me, kept swaying her hair till her tresses just hit my face! I was super annoyed & secretly asked my bro to 'exchange' position with me. After awhile, the girl continued with her hair swaying & was shocked to see my bro looking down staring@her. (My bro stands @1.83m tall & she was petite...LOL!) I was happy that I got my 'revenge'. haha! Towards the start of the concert, the two clones were apparently pushed down to the floor by the crowd & had to be carried away. :O It was a chaotic situation & people went just high during the concert & my bro even got 'molested' by this short guy who was trying to get a good view but blocked by my tall bro. So he resorted to pinching my bro's bottom, gosh! My bro got so mad that he shouted @that fella. He was so scared & trembled. Sounds Dramatic, right? But my bro managed to 'open' a way for me @ a good & 'safe' corner & joined by his mates later on. We got pretty close to the stage & my bro commented that Brett Anderson is really good-looking. Now, this was coming from a guy's point of view! Even he thought so. :P After the concert, all of them commented that they were surprised that to see me, as a gal, was so 'ON' & high during the concert as well. :P I've always enjoyed having fun & always will be. ;) Life is short, have fun! Work hard but play hard as well! You only live once! Thats my philosophy in life.

Before the concert, I remembered going to the lads' upclose & personal session @98.7FM with my classmate, Janice. Gosh, I so regretted bringing her along. She was like a typical schoolgirl who was gushing @boybands member or something. Only this time, she was gushing @the keyboardist, Neil Codling. :S So embarassing. She behaved as if she wanna eat him up or something, OMG! haha! Brett & the other band members were cool. I later told my bro about it. He said I should ask him along instead.

Ok this time round, Suede still sounds good as ever! Only this time, I wasn't in the free standing arena though. More fun there. :P But must go with the right company. Fiona & her friend spent most of the concert seated also, until the last song before Encore, "Beautiful Ones". :O I reckon so far, Meiling & Cindy are few of my friends who really could be as wild concert-goers like me. :)
Brett Anderson was hyper &high from the start of the concert till end! His vocals crisp clear, exactly like in the album. Just like The Cranberries also. These are the bands that really have what it takes - talent & voice.
The rest of the band were equally high as Brett except the very aloof & cool Neil Codling whom Fiona adores. haha! I never know she has such 'unique' taste in men. :P But I must say Neil still looks good & boyish after these years though. :P
