Miserable Sick Me..:(

Having a bad cough & sore throat + headache, on 2 days MC. :( Good thing the doctor was generous enough to give more than 1 day MC, which you seldom get to hear that. I frequent this clinic alot. The doctor is good in a sense that his medicine is effective, but the only annoying thing is that he has the tendency to indirectly ask u to get this & that medicine, with the purpose to earn more of your $. Haiz. I reckon its becoz' times are hard now, especially with the recent financial crisis + high food costs etc, that he gotta use this method to earn more $, for his children's school fees, perhaps? Therefore, it is very important to remain alert though most of the time, I'm blur blur & groggy when sick. (ain't most of us that way?) Next time, I just need to pray for God's Grace to help me to be alert so that I won't fall into his 'trick' unknowingly. :O

I had been coughing for the past 2 weeks or so. @1st, I just took cough syrup & thought I would be fine but it seemed to get worse, the phlegm was still stubbornly inside of my throat, though a bit was loosen. Then, it just caused soreness & thats it. When I start having sore throat, most likely its a syntom that I'll get sick.

However, I'm thankful for these 2 days of rest though. I guess I badly needed it. A short week for me as I'll be going back work for just 1 more day then the long weekend! (Monday Deepavali public holiday) Yippee! :)
